Welcome

I am a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Political Science at McMaster University. In Fall 2024, I am joining the Department of Political Science at Northwestern University as an Assistant Professor of Instruction. I will teach courses on statistics, statistical programming, and computational social science.

My research develops standards to navigate research design tradeoffs in the social sciences. My substantive work applies these ideas to the challenges to accountability, governance, and representation in the Global South and beyond.

I received my PhD from the Department of Political Science at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Before joining McMaster, I was a postdoctoral fellow at the Center for Inter-American Policy and Research at Tulane University.
